HA HA HA! I just don't know what to make of it. Too funny for words.

My hair needs CPR.  It needs blood transfusion.  It needs to be in ICU.  I can't really afford any treatment right now.  I'm too broke for that.  So I decided to give it a new look.  I got myself Wella's DEER BROWN shade.

The color I got after wasn't at all like the box.  In reality, it looked like a freaking PALABOK!  So I took pix...

Can't really say thank you enough since it has been a looooong time since I wanted one and she got it for me! Just the perfect size, too! I was soooo anxious that the size 35/36 was going to be small for me since this was a what, 2006 or 2007 model?  But considering it coming from AmSole... it's actually 9.2 inches.. so much like my 37/38 metallic GOLD Havies.

So here it is.  Feast your eyes on this... (Well, at least I will be feasting on this.. so yeah. Tee hee!)

Okay, this one I got from Banggoy...

OMG!!! It's like the crazy songhits with the lyrics of Brian McKnight's BACK AT ONE that I had before... Lyrics went like this... "It's in the toilet bowl... that we should be together..." CRAZZZZZZZZZY!!!!!!

With all the hype about Ms. San Miguel's Q&A stint at the Bb. Pilipinas event, it got me wondering:

• Is it in the rulebook of the pageant that a candidate is to reply in ENGLISH?  Seriously guys, it's titled "BB. PILIPINAS"... I mean, come on, there are so many dialects spoken in our country and TAGALOG being the national language... Wouldn't you want to hear an ILONGGA speak her native tongue or perhaps a WARAY2X to shower us with their R's?  Or listen to a Cebuana reply in such manner that it sounds like a "balak" to you ears?  Shouldn't candidates be given "free" speech -- to choose what medium, what dialect or vernacular, or whatever they feel best they can communicate with?!  The real deal is whether they can give an appropriate (if not right) answer.  Not the diction or the pronunciation.  "I personally believe" that English shouldn't be the only means of answering the questions in that portion of the competition.  "I thank you."
• What about translators?  Shouldn't we start using those, too?
  
• AND maybe, just maybe, Ms. San Miguel did THAT on purpose... to stand out.  Who knows?  Sure... beauty contestants slip on stage all the time! WAHAHAHAHAHA!
• Wikipedia states that, "Binibining Pilipinas or Miss Philippines is the most prestigious beauty pageant in the Philippines."  So umm, whatever happened to the "prestigious" committee?  No time to screen the beauties so that they can show what this country wants to see or hear?
• Lastly, they should do it USA-style.  You know, winners of each state competing for the title.  Maybe we can have winners of each Region.  Like, candidates from Region 1 to 12, SOCSARGEN, the Cordilleras, and so on... This way we can really showcase Filipina beauty, from all regions of the country.  This way, we can also get the cream of the crop!
• No stereotyping of fair-skinned beauties and size 0-2 bodies being winners.  Why not give the Muslims or the Ifugao and Aetas (are they still around?) a chance to showcase their natural beauty?  We are after all Filipinas -- bisdak, half-bred, and morenas.
  

 
Hmmm. Of course, I'm no beauty expert.
