Just in case you were wondering what happened to me over the past few months... Well, you can check out my blog for updates and all my life's drama... Tee hee...
Sorry I haven't been posting much here at Multiply.
Today I received a rather disturbing email. Somebody was asking me if I was selling a laptop -- The Asus 1000HEto be exact. And I could not, for the life of me, imagine selling this netbook because I gave this to my mom.
I asked if there is a link I could check regarding this item... and alas, the scammers are at it again!
This person (mymaria_24) stole my photos and is trying to sell a make-believe item with my photos! And it even has my watermarks in them! Click to view larger pic!
UNBEFRICKINGLIEVABLE!
All photos of the item being sold even bear my multiply site! Holy crap!
It's a good thing somebody emailed me about it but whoever won the bid for this eBay item should definitely be warned. It's a SCAM! That's not my account, I'm not selling this item, and those photos are clearly stolen from me!!!
So now, how do you report a scammer on eBay? Anybody knows how? Text me or email me pls!
I'm closing yet another chapter in life and it is a pleasure for me to open up a new page to write the story. I guess this time it's no longer just MY story, it's OURS. (Not that I don't share bits and pieces of what's going on with my love life.) You guys pretty much are in the know of what's going on in that department.
I don't think it's just a coincidence that it happens to be the LOVE MONTH, the YEAR OF THE METAL RABBIT, or that it was our anniversary a few days ago when Noodle Boy gave me his HEART set in stone. AHA! I bet you know what I'm going to say now, don't cha?
I was going to blog a summary of my 2010 but I think everyone else is doing it, so I won't. ^_^ Besides, no point looking back... I got the entire 2011 to look forward to!
Not to sound totally ungrateful but okay, I'm glad to have been given another chance to live and try to make a difference. I'm glad to have ever supportive parents (in spite of the occasional bickering that comes with living with them). I'm glad to have the best boyfriend in the whole world... and having had one too many, I have every right to claim that Noodle Boy is THE BEST and I have no intention of leaving him, entertaining other guys, or continue dreaming of Ryan Reynolds. I'm glad I still have my sanity intact so I can plan for the future (which is about time!) and I got my iPhone and apps to help me get by.
Another year, another 365 days of cool contests online. I've never considered myself really lucky. I haven't won the lotto, right? But chances are, I usually get Lady Luck's nod when it comes to contests. I enjoy contests. I'm not a very competitive person evidently as you can see that I'm not into sports. But as far as playing cards, gambling, and writing competitions, I've been doing it for as long as I remember. Even before the dawn of the Internet.
I come from a family who plays madjong almost everyday; hosts madjong, piat2x/pusoy, and poker sessions at my house; and goes to the casino whenever there is a chance to. When I went to Las Vegas with my mom, I could literally see the sparkle in her eyes. I wasn't really there for the games... If you know what I mean. ^_^
The first half of the first month of the year has given me enough time to start a few projects. These, however, aren't meant for me to get richer or what. It's for educational purposes. In other words, I'm learning new things (investing money and time) merely for the sake of fun, creativity, and well, just to get rid of boredom. It's actually fun because I need to upgrade my skills and knowledge in this dog-eat-dog world. To give you a clearer picture...
Who says Halloween is the only time to dress up? The Annual Christmas Party of the Barks & Co. was yet another success. For my new readers, Barks & Co. is my barkada, the ultra solid circle of friends whom I trust with all my life. I found them and have been with them for the past decade of my life. You could say they're like my brothers and sisters. Anyways, so this year's theme was MOVIE CHARACTERS. We were supposed to dress up as our favorite protagonist/antagonist of our favorite movies.
I didn't quite expect everyone to give it their best (although I couldn't hide the excitement as I prepared for the night!) and was very happy how the night turned out to be.
From last year's Hip Hop Theme to this year's Movie Buff theme!
So yesterday we checked out the new branch of a known cellular shop that opened recently at Brodeth One Stop Shop. As a gadget freak, it delights me that even a small town like Ormoc City is pretty much up-to-date with the latest in technology. Although prices may be a little bit higher than those you will find online or in major cities, it's still nice knowing that you can actually check out units before purchasing them.
I wanted to post this over at myRants & Ravesblog, but I decided otherwise since I got pictures to post and that blog is exclusively for verbal diarrhea. (Boring, huh?)
Since I don't have myMickeywith me right now, I haven't been checking up with all my social networks because I have to rely on Noodle Boy's Nadia or my mom's netbookjust to go online. Of course, there's the iPad and the iPhone, but they don't have my bookmarks and all those plug-ins and extensions that make navigating my cyber life way much easier. Plus, not to forget my gazillion email, usernames and passwords. The experience of not having Mickey for the past week is enough to make a blog post out of it! Total withdrawal. But I'll do that some other time...
In the meantime, here's what happenedAFTERI was able to log in into my Multiplyaccount in just 7 days since I handed Mickey over to the good people of Apple.
